LAUSD Title I Parental Involvement Policy

The District Title I Parental Involvement Policy has been mailed home on December 7th, 2016. The Parent Involvement Policies and Parent Compacts for each school - CDAGS, RISE and CHAS were also mailed December 7th.

The District Title I Parent Involvement Policy was developed jointly with and approved by parents of Title I students from representative schools across LAUSD, and adopted by the LAUSD Board of Education on December 11, 2012.  It is reviewed annually by Title I parents in each Local District.
 
 
La Política de Participación de los Padres del Título I del Distrito se envió a casa el 7 de diciembre de 2016. Las Políticas de Participación de los Padres y Pactos de los Padres para cada escuela - CDAGS, RISE y CHAS también fueron enviadas el 7 de Diciembre. La Política de Participación de Padres de Título I del Distrito fue desarrollada conjuntamente con y aprobada por padres de estudiantes de Título I de escuelas representativas en el LAUSD y adoptada por la Junta de Educación del LAUSD el 11 de diciembre de 2012. Es revisada anualmente por padres de Título I en cada Local Distrito.

PIQE Starts Sept 1st!

The Parent Institute for Quality Education begins September 1st. We will be offering both Level 1 and Level 2 Workshops this year! Workshop 1 will be held during the morning, from 8:30am - 10:00am, and Workshop 2 will be held during the evening, from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. The workshops will be held every Thursday from September 1st to October 27th.

 

The Level 1 Workshop will focus on getting the most out of the high school education experience including graduation requirements, what classes are required, why the GPA is important and preparing for higher education.

 

The Level 2 Workshop will focus on preparing for the college and/or career experience including preparing for college, why college is important, financial aid for college and other career options.
