BECAS UNIVISION 2015

Univision is offering 34 scholarships ($5,000 each) to students in high school, transferring from community college, and current college students.

The Nordstrom Scholarship Programs

Eligibility: High school juniors with a minimum 2.7 GPA who volunteer, hope to attend a 4 year university, and will be applying for financial aid. 

 

Amount: $10,000

META Scholarship Program

META is an organization that provides scholarships and mentoring exclusively to Southern California Hispanic students. I'm happy to announce that our 2014 application season has begun. How much is the scholarship? $4,000 (6)

Who can get the scholarship?

Seniors with a minimum 2.5 GPA and must be planning to attend a FOUR-YEAR college/university or community college beginning in the fall of 2014. 

What is the application process?

1. A completed Scholarship Application

2. 2 Letters of Recommendation

3. Resume or Short biography

4. a 500-700 Word Essay about the importance of community service and how you demonstrated outstanding community service during your H.S. years

When is it due?

California Sea Grant College Program

Name: California Sea Grant College Program—John D. Issacs Scholarship

Eligibility: Students must enter a marine science project in regional/county science fair in their junior or senior year of high school. Seniors must apply to and later attend a 4 year university in California. 

 

Amount: $12,000 over 4 years

How much is the scholarship? $1,000 (4)

 

Who can get the scholarship?

Southern california Seniors that have been accepted to any accredited college, university, trade school beginning in the fall of 2014

 

What is the application process?

1. A completed and signed Scholarship Application

2. Letter of Recommendation from a faculty member

3. Copy of your High School Transcript (sealed)

4. Essay (2 page max)

5. Letter of Acceptance to a college or university
